Handcarve is an independent artist collective for fan-made works, gathered by writers, illustrators, editors, readers, and makers in devotion to the stories that endure beyond their first telling. We regard transformative work as a serious art of response: interpretive, communal, carefully wrought, and worthy of keeping.

Fan-led and noncommercial in spirit, Handcarve preserves and presents work made in the margins of beloved stories — finished pieces, fragments, notes, and creative traces shaped with care outside the ordinary gates of publishing.
